1000 sq. mt. multi-purpose building completed in 2003 for the Border Union Agricultural Society, Kelso.

Tweedsmuir Parish Church. Built at the turn of the century and, despite various repair schemes over the years, has never been completely wind and watertight. We have inserted a number of lead DPC courses at various levels to stop the ingress of water into the interior of the church.![]()
Havannah Court, Bridge Street, Kelso. Derelict building in Kelso town centre purchased by John Laidlaw & Son with financial assistance from Scottish Enterprise Borders. It was completely renovated to form flats and two shops.![]()
The Granary, Abbey Row, Kelso. This redundant mill building was purchased by John Laidlaw & Son in 1998, and over the next two years was completely renovated to form eight flats with off-street parking (SEB funding for renovation purposes).![]()
Work has been ongoing for the past five years to repair and replace the roofs and chimneys at Bowhill House, near Selkirk, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch. Temporary roofs are erected to keep the building wind and watertight and also to allow work to continue in all weather conditions.
